Korean Chicken Wings! Air Fryer version
Ingredients: Salt, Stevia (or sugar), black pepper
Cornstarch, Vinegar, Wheat Flour
Sesame seed, ketchup, chopped garlic, honey
"Co-jujan" – Korean red pepper paste, spicy!
Let's start seasoning the chicken wings
Salt (not too much!)
Black pepper
2 tablespoons white vinegar
mix well and leave for about 15 minutes
2 spoons of Royal Powder (yeast)
1 spoon of wheat flour
1 spoon of cornstarch
mix the chicken well
Pre-Heat the Air-Fryer for 5 minutes at 390F
grease the grill well with oil so it doesn't stick to the chicken
we put the chicken, without putting one over the other
let's wait for 12 minutes on each side, the 360F
wait 12 minutes (depends on the thickness of your wing, mine was not too thick)
In the meantime, let's prepare the chicken sauce
with the warm frying pan, we put about 6 tablespoons of vegetable oil
add about 5 cloves of chopped garlic, if you want more, no problem
Sauté and don't let it burn. Medium heat
lower the Fire so it doesn't burn
add 1 spoon of Co-jujan, the Korean red pepper paste
LOW FIRE and do NOT mix yet
Add 3 spoons of honey
starts mixing – LOW FIRE –
We add a spoon of white vinegar, if you like more sour, add another spoon
and mix more, in LOW FIRE
We added a little sesame seed
We continue to sauté
Do not leave for too long so as not to caramelize or burn.
turn off the fire !
add 1 spoon of ketchup
Turn on fire VERY LOW and mix for about 30 seconds
turn off the fire
add a little bit of Stevia or a tablespoon of sugar
mix well
the secret and do not burn or caramelize, always very low heat
back to the Air-Fryer
Open and flip each chicken carefully
we use a vegetable oil spray to keep it from getting too dry
close and leave for another 12 minutes at the same 360F temperature
look what a BEAUTIFUL COLOR! YUMMY !!!
We go back to the sauce, we heat up a few seconds
Add the chicken wings in the sauce and mix well
Very low fire!
