It is found in the cells of liver and small intestine, blood, urine, placenta and bile.
This test is important to know about liver and gallbladder health
So this test is important to know about liver damage
Specimen collection for Leucine Aminopeptidase test is?
Collect 3 to 5 ml blood in Red Top, or Yellow top Tube.
Centrifuge and Use Serum for Test.
Normal Range of Leucine Aminopeptidase in normal blood is:
Female: 75 to 185 Units/mL
Male: 80 to 200 Units/mL
Causes of increased Leucine Aminopeptidase level

Liver Tumor, Liver Ischemia, Cirrhosis, Cholestasis, Liver necrosis
Liver Cancer and Hepatitis
